This page is dedicated to the world's more than 139,000 youthful volunteers who call themselves Leos.

In 138 nations worldwide, there are more than 5,000 Leo clubs. Each club is sponsored by a Lions club.

Leo club members are between the ages of 12 and 28. Like the members of their sponsoring Lions club, Leo club members volunteer to serve their communities.

Edgewood Leos Sponsor Change Challenge to support New York Terrorist Relief Effort

The Mounds View Leo Club sponsored a Change Challenge competition between grade levels to collect money to support the New York terrorist relief effort. The competition started with pennies on Monday and went through qarters on Thursday, ending with any coins or bills on Friday. The eighth grade class was declared the winner. A total of $823.02 was collected by all grades.

Each student in the winning grade was given a free dessert at lunch by Edgewood school, and an American flag by the Mounds View Lions Club.

Members of the Mounds View Lions Club voted to match the money collected by the Leo club and thus a total of 1646.04 will be sent to New York through the LCIF program. The Mounds View Lions Club is very proud of the Leo's club effort to help others in a true time of need.

      Good Job Leo's!
